lol i played level one once to evaluate the tower boss and got a gatekeeper on the empty space after the very first enemy. i always get really lucky with gatekeepers for some reason tho

Alright I have to say it. Do these guys look sci fi to anyone? Beautiful as the artwork is, it seems like they've been plucked out of legend of dragoon.

I LOVE The Legend of Dragoon! One of my favorite PSX games. OMG I so wish they made a sequel! The characters were freaking cool and the battle system was actually novel and rewarding.

I enjoyed legend of dragoon. Kinda... I really didn't like the battle gauge hanging over the characters head as you ran around. Kinda made me nervous. Has anyone played Suikoden 2? That and FF7 are my favourite games ever.

But yeah, no one's denying they look good. Just out of place.

Something is fubar. My last 4 runs of level 10 have not given me the option to capture the boss. It just goes straight to points. Anyone else?

That happens sometimes to me too, I noticed it about 2 towers ago and get it infrequently. Never quit in a row like that, usually 4-5 times per event. I don't know if it is an issue, or if it is just something that the devs did on purpose. Like rather than make the boss automatically spawn as capturable after a level, give it a 90% chance to appear.

Is there some trigger that switches the reward for clearing the floor from giving crystals to giving mind erasers?

Would be good to know in the event I was seeking one or the other.

Dang, mamoncrief; way to spoil the glimmer of hope I had of picking up more crystals for free, just by walking through a level or two. Sad

Oh, well. Back to the X to see if there are any buyers out there with crystals & res burning holes in their pockets. Very Happy

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. I have gained a decent amount of crystals by putting any rare fam i pick up on the exchange for 1 crystal right as I get it. If it doesn't sell I do it again, and if it still doesn't go I discharge or fuse it away.

3-5 crystals a day doesn't sound like a lot. because it isn't. but now I have a deep enough stack that I can ope anything i like an never worry about running out.

Tell me about it. I have 200 of each crystal. Getting 300 of each in a couple of days. I only use 200 cc. But i been placing the crystals in the wrong place in the evo. Until someone was whining about a merc that had 45 less in all stats than a right built OPE.

I'll probably dump more than 300 crystals in the Switches. Just for the heck of it.Smile

Ed, I thought the max number of crystals to give the best value using them on a merc was 200 doing the 8/200 build because the reward from adding more than 200 quickly drops.

Am I mistaken?

If you do it properly,

50c = +500 to all stats
200c = +650 to all stats
400c = +665 to all stats

I'm getting a gatekeeper every two levels now but only when using my wifes tablet. I only had one in the beginning on my ios but using her android tablet i have been getting the nexus.

Coincidence?

A couple more over the last hour and 1/2 but inly on the tablet. I run zone 10 4 times then switch to tablet, go zone 9 and get a gatekeeper then after i finish that zone 9 i stay on tablet, go to zone 10 and either that run or the next is another gatekeeper. Then maybe four or fives runs more on the tablet then i go back to iphone, rinse repeat.

Has been working like a charm so far

lol i can't say i haven't been lucky. I've never pushed this much either but just anomally wise i get them and my allies give them repeatedly. My allies ranks: 5,6,11,24,53 and we seem to play together a lot but then again ranked like that we have to be playing a lot lol

I still haven't figured out if this new L is good or not. It does heal immediately then continues to heal rather then last L that just healed over 3 turns. Since I have an atk buff the damage proc looks like it will nuke 3 mercs.. IDK hard to tell with that healing skill if it will be effective or not.

30% capture bonus n increase chance of gatekeeper... Bullshit. i m still getting same capture points as before n even after 3 ps, 1 leader lvl n full enenrgy, i havnt got any gatekeeper.
