What would happen if you took these following OPE Mercs in your squad: ( For PvP )

Canis Bulwark v2 - Mordeo Mutant - Canis Bulwark v2 - Mordeo Mutant - Canis Bulwark v2

1 Canis Bulwark v2 alone mostly defends every merc, imagine having 3 of them buffed by att + def.

Why not toss a Blue Bot in the middle, just for fun?

like hept said, toss a blue bot in the middle and do a V formation:

Canis-Mord-Blue-Mord-Canis

with that squad, you'd win most of your fights and others would avoid your squad when fighting their battles.

Too bad you can't actually see who has fought you while you were gone etc. like on Blood Brothers, that would be a nice add-on to see how your squad runs.

And for those playing on the cheap:

Canis - Tendril Whip - Blue Wasp/Tigrey - Tendril Whip - Canis

Won't be as intimidating as the mordeo / Blue Bot setup above, but does the same actions. And for TONS less res.

I saw this and figured i'd add my 2 cents....

Run it like this instead

Blue- Mord-Canis-Mord-Canis in the "M" formation. Getting one canis double buffed, and one single buffed, but with the 20% DR from being in the back row is overall more effective for the strength and longevity of this team. I know because I did it and won 99.99% of my pvp matched Smile

All I'm sayin' is that the Canis skill is useless against dmg to all, and

I don't shy away from Canis...

Cannonback-Marcus-Golem-Incin-CXBU....or if Canis not Dead after first damage taken...

CXBU-Mordeo-Incin-Golem-Marcus...

At any rate...Give it a try...I'll let you know when I make Chinese Food out of them...GL, bitch.

my canis double buffed by mordeo takes roughly 3k damage from a proc from an OPE battlemaster. I know because my brother has one, and I have fought him to see the proc. If both mordeo's and my blue bot proc, he takes about 3k damage from a relentless from fista.

I have also faught you jo, and I can't say it turned out well for you.

That's prety much what I expected, and the ATK must be prety amazing as well when he counters. Heavy ATK Damage + 2x Mordeo Buff. GL 'Bitch'. Wink ( not meant for you mamon )

That said, nukes do counter the overall team structure, and when no buffs proc it's not a happy day for a canis team.

My team now that I run for pvp is slightly different

Blue-Golem-odin-mordeo-canis

swapping out the first modeo for golem means a little def lost, but much offense gained, and swapping canis for odis means 2 double attackers in the line, 2 defenders, lots of buffs, and a last ditch heal that has saved this team from those pesky nukes.

If Attacker and defender are both buffed by Mordeo and CXB-U, effect should be cancelled out...

Even if Canis Deflects and kills Cannonback, that leaves 2 Canis to defend against remaining 4...

and enough of the bitch-calling...unwarranted.

You're the one that asked for opinions...

Not everybody can afford that squad though. ;o
I can't afford myself even one Odin.

Obviously that is a normal canis team on steroids, but just debuff the crap out of them if we are playing the what if OPE game.

In actual game play, I don't fear canis teams with my counter team hidden in the back row. IMO, any team that relies on all atk isn't that hot.

Maybe so, but I'd still avoid the team. This is the cheaper version of the team, you could also start throwing in some Odins instead of Canis. ( For the richer people. ) Which will then heal your mercs again etc. etc. Or go for this new Heavy +ATK +DEF which will buff the two weakest mercs with 200%.

Niobe v2 / Odin / Incinerate v2 / Canis Bulwark v2 / Canis Bulwark v2

( Or something similar, if Canis would actually get buffed by the Niobe. )

Canis - Canis - Niobe - Canis - Canis in V formation

That might be fun.

If it buffs multiple times, you're fucked. But you can't choose which one it will buff, unless they're lesser evo's.
