PostSubject: PVP squad advice   September 15th 2013, 3:59 am

i use the W formation my squad i was planning on running:

PE black bot-9802 blue bot-OPE lilith-Alvin(leader)-5x1 Ulfr Lion 13927 wis
PE ultra mutant-weak 12148 atk cannonback-EVE 4 13028 wis-8x1 vulture-Gyro 14396 agi

i'm running the leader front row for the health plus agi attack bonus and the lion which is non agi but stronges non buffed single hit of all my mercs

Also have worth noting 9752 blu bot, emperor samurai 8x1x50 (but trying to sell), PE big rig

Suggestions? anything will help

I would run:

Black - Blue - Lilith - Ulfr - Cannonback

OR

Black - Blue - Lilith - Blue- Ulfr

depending which worked back in practice.

I would run blue-vulture-alvin-lilith-blue/samuria if I had your squad. You've got a good amount of RES in merc value. I would sell off all but what I was going to use to get best 5 guys possible. Unless you run an atk buff atk based mercs don't usually do well against the L squads at 24-30 wins. Your best chance at winning long streaks is by striking first and with two blue and high agi you will more then likely go first. Also emp sam with two blue bots is amazing. That extra 5% proc rate seems to show itself a lot.

You should probably ignore me and take notice of ^^ if you are running a 5 man.

Lilith - Blue - Ulfr/Black would probably get you 30 streaks...

Ok so I made some trades and thought my pvp team would be pretty damn good.....but seems Im loosing more than my old inferior squad.  Maybe I'm doing something wrong on my set up what you think.  This is what I'm running

Hanzo v2 - blue bot- pe lith- blue bot- swift nox v2 using the W formation

I have a pe tigerey and a couple pe bigrigs would you guys change something or was I thinking my squad would be better than it is?

looks decent to me, but lacks multi-hit power...Hanzo should 1-hit 3 and nox should 1-hit 2 and Lilith should 1-hit 4 effectively winning most rounds...if you proc. If no procs happen, you might kill 2-3 of the other team with auto attacks...if they all hit the same enemies.

2 blues seems to be overkill IMO, try swapping out one blue with another multi-hitter and/or canis and see how that goes.

That looks like a damn solid squad man. I'm not good enough to be able to find something wrong there

you can also try moving your merc around like your front row, just swap positions as I believe they have a predetermined script for where mercs areplaced and how they buff and proc.
I would also try replacing lilith with canis for a few rounds to see if anything changes
ps. I fought your team and your blues didn't proc at all

I fought his team, for the lols, and got slaughtered ^^ but I have noticed a lot of times enemy teams will not proc a single buff. I don't think thats ever happened before in pvp for me.

I have always felt like the other team proc'd like a leprechaun, holding a four leaf clover and a face side up penny while looking at a double rainbow.

Trade your Lilith and change for a Golem, and stick him in the middle between your two Lethals in M formation. 70% chance you will have 6 hits (at worst if no procs) with buffed ATK damage which is sure to win most rounds for you.

I don't think he mentioned he had a Golem tho, but that would be a really good lineup

^^ that is almost exactly what I am using (blue-tideslayer-golem-hanzo-birdkeeper) and it works like a charm. As long as at least 1 of the 2 buffs go I don't lose. I seem to be getting 0 buffs pretty frequently this event however, and those can turn into real slugfests. Still, hanzo and tideslayer are fast enough that only in very very rare occasion do they not get to attack first.

In other news, Fozzie sell me your nox Smile I'll give you a golem and coupon book full of certificates for free back rubs for it.

Fozzie believe it or not its been really fluctuating lately and they have been found being moved fairly cheaply. I'm waiting for another movement and I want to back row a couple more

Golems been going for 150-200 lately. Pretty wide margin. A couple of desperate people like hatchet have sold them for less, but that's more the exception not the rule.
