They're all really strong. Is that Event Epic really 200%? The possibilities with it would be rather fun if so (though the proc is only 40%).

Love the art on the Pact L (but with a kind of Nocturnal looking head). Blood Widow Queen and Dominance... Swift Nox #2?

Feel bad for you guys who are competitive at the top. Looks like another meat grinder!

I am sooo sick of proc chances when im getting some win streak. Is it just me or there is a real penalty to chance for ability to proc with wins and bonus for opponent? OR am I just being so unlucky to always stop at 15-18 wins?

won't be that much of a fight for alien Dick&Jane, if it was the pact L as the reward then expect the dead to raise from their graves. pity the Pact L will be as rare as the Biofuel coz no one is gonna pay for packs

So if I am reading the json right,

The mindflayer has:
a wisdom based and stun effect pre battle skill that does 2 X 50% dmg with a 70% chance to proc
a wisdom based and silence effect normal battle skill that does 4 X 150% dmg with a 30% chance to proc

Niobe's skill seems to be a normal battle skill so not pre battle. The question is how do you define the weakest team mate. Is it HP based or Att/Def based?

The boomboxer has
an agi based normal battle skill that does 6 X 100% dmg with a 35% chane to proc
a normal battle buff stripper with a 30% chance to proc

sounds about right. the Pack L is good for all events, more versatile than a Nox but not as deadly and fast.
I guess the weakest merc will be the total stat combined of that merc, unless they base it on Def alone

All three new mercs look interesting. I'll be pushing to get as many of the event rares as I can, I want an 8n1 for sure. Oh and I absolutely love the art on all three of them, this is real top notch stuff.

Event rare proc could turn the tide of a battle real quick. I'm not sure how to value him. Lilith was easy I knew she would be worth a lot but its hard to tell if people will get excited about a mid battle buff. With 200 % mod that really does add a shit ton of atk power and def.

Already having problems. With a point boost wins 24-30 only gave me like 2k-5k points per fight. I thought wins 24-30 with point boost are minimum 12-15k points.

So basically there's a new Nox in the game right now, only it hits 6x 100% Rate instead of 2x 300%.

Yeah it is going to be annoying facing them in pvp haha. Kill them before they get a turn or that is going to be a lot of atk and def.

Also, I wonder if since this buff is in battle it will be able to proc multiple times.

If it can it will be incredibly powerful, and if it can't it seems kind of underpowered.

Because if I am reading the Json correctly, she is going to buff like 30k atk and def each buff. Which I imagine makes this the strongest buff in the game by itself.

I'm going to see if i can snipe multiples of the rare off the market during the post-event trading frenzy on the off chance that the buffs from the same/multiple units STACK. Will be awesome for raids with a 200% of 14k modifier per buff. Might even make ultra mutants useful again, hah!

Am I missing something? The modifier on the event rare is only 100% in the JSON, same as Combat Awareness.

How is that a raid-worthy choice?

it buffs the weakest 2 squadmates...I'm still not seeing the usefulness of this merc except for being a back row buffer...when she pops up from back row and buffs two weakest mercs for 30k...that's awesome, but if she's in your main squad, she's only useful if she procs and at 40% + Dakota proc manipulation that equates to about a 1% chance she'll proc and be useful in your squad.

Plus, for raid squad, she'll buff your two "weakest mercs"...whatever that means...they'll probably make the savages next raid be wis or agi based so this buff doesn't help anyways...except for an auto attack here and there... lol!

Ya, poor choice of wording, the buff is 'only' a 100% modifier on a 14k+ OPE WIS stat. Still, worth gambling on for those players that don't have Mordeo's and Golems.

No clue, but it only buffs self & 2 weakest mercs, which is kind of a bummer to me since you can't decide which merc you want to be buffed. ( Unless you start calculating who's the weakest merc etc. etc. then it might be even better because you can choose his place on the field. )

I read it as 200 on the Json, I don't know it changed or if I was just really sleepy when I added the stats to the wiki and this page. Potentially I saw the "Heavily" in the description and just let the numbers deceive me.

Either way, either they changed it I made a mistake, so apologies.

But it wouldn't be the first time either happened haha

Also, for future reference, quoting the wiki isn't always a dead giveaway haha, the people who update the wiki are oftentimes the same ones who post the information here. Like me in this case. I'll fix the wiki asap if it isn't already done.

And now that I think about it, since they have been scaling buff ratios WAY back lately (40%-50%) maybe "Heavily Buff" Is there new term for a 100% buff compared to the new standard of ~50%

I feel like the match-ups are a little bit better this time around as far as difficulty throughout the 30 match sequence goes, but yeah, I agree about the point system being all wonky. 3000 points for match #30 facing all Lethals is stupid. They really need to improve the point scaling. Facing off against all L's in a front row should net you more points than squads running Epics. Instead, I'm finding consistent occasions where my 3 choices will be two epic teams and one lethal team, and the epic teams are giving out twice as many points as the lethal one if I win. Lethal teams should be giving you points in the 30k-40K range on a point boost. This will make matches more exciting and people may be willing to go full-auto for the bigger points.

The procs are still predetermined too. I can tell they've tried to make the matches more exciting, but I'm losing to squads I wouldn't normally lose to because of the predetermination and in very strange ways where the probability of it happening is either single digit or lower (i.e. nobody buffs or procs on my team, everybody buffs and procs on theirs, identical buff sequences when rematching, my whole turtle team buffs but doesn't proc, while the other team procs every single turn trying to smash my shell, etc.). I really wish they could just leave things alone in the proc department and let the probability rates stand on their own.

The other thing is they've definitely made it so you have to spend more PS. It used to be during past PVP events that you could move 1 or 2 spaces across a 6 space empty field and encounter a match 3-6 times. Now I'm consistently moving 5, sometimes 6 spaces across empty spots and not hitting anything.

Anyway, some observations.

I started on Win Streak 3 this event because I failed to win againt a Lethal squad last time. Had 3 point boosts so far without even actually playing. All around 8k~ per win, haha.
And I see somebody changed the wiki into 100% Modifier now, if it's 200% Modifier I'll definately get an 8in1 and make sure my squad is set-up properly so it buffs the mercs I want.

And a normal Giga-Primarch v2 already buffs 100% on normal modifier. For some reason I can't accept the fact they'd make a merc, saying: Heavy increase for the TWO WEAKEST MERCS .. and then giving it a 100% modifier, otherwise it'd be underpowered.

IMO, it's a step in the right direction to fix the game from stat inflation and crazy buffing mercs, but only for newer players.

Unfortunately, the damage is already done when there's crazy mercs like golem, mord and blue/black bots already out there...not to mention all the crazy good Lethals from yesteryear.

I think they are finding ways to keep strong familiars strong without breaking the game. I like the direction they are taking the balance of the game. Eventually there will be few enough golems that they won't be an issue as much, and while it will take much longer for blue bots to be obsolete, all it will take is a new event rare with an agility all buff at about 60% bit better overall stats and they will start to fade away.

End of Day 1:

Rank 2- started 369 mags ended 231. ~2.3 million pts. finished with 285 wins. pretty much 2 wins per mag. That means my natural regen and my ammo waste from the odd loss here and there cancelled each other out. All in all an easy and uneventful day of pvping. I took the almost the entire afternoon off as well, from about 12-4 because of a family emergency.

If I keep up at exactly this rate for the rest of the event, top 10 finish will cost me 199 AC. (Total mags used per day = 138 x 6 = 828 - my remaining mags, 231 = 597 / 3 for ac = 199.

So, for those who are wondering what it takes to run a pvp event, there you have the math.
