PostSubject: Help with raid formation.    November 4th 2013, 12:49 am

Hey guys, I have the following mercs for raid event and I wanted some help to get the best damage output out of them. So which formation might help the most?

2 burnfrost
2 bionic televangelist
2 xiaotig
3 giga prim
2 niobe
Ultra mut and prawn
Archangel, lilith, f9 mark4, blue wasp.

I m not going to buy savages but if I get them out of coins then I ll put them somewhere in the team. Pls help.

Solid setup bud. I think i'd run something like

Bf-Tig-Evang-Tig-Bf
Leader-Niobe-Prawn-Niobe-UM(or f9)

I'd put evengelist in the middle because double tigrey buff + chance at weaken would hit for crazy damage.

Won't the Niobes just end up buffing the Tigreys? I thought the idea with a Niobe in Raid was to find a low HP merc with a high % damage when it procced.

Also, a televangelist that weakens on the 1st or 2nd hit will end up doing 1000% damage compared to the Burnfrost on 900%. If it weakens on the third hit, it will do < 800% damage (as it will be the tigrey doing the double damage on auto attack with a low attack)

I guess it just depends on how often in practice the Televangelist does a weaken. The Televangelist must weaken more than 3 out of every 4 times it procs for you to want to double buff it.

Thanks mamon. I m a little sceptical abt niobe now. 50% proc and only pre battle buff... Dunno how often wud it be useful. I m inclined to replacing a niobe with a giga prim. What do u reckon?

Another setup I had in mind was
Wasp(/bf)-tig-bf(/wasp)-tig-bf
F9-lil-archangel-switchblade-leader

How will this one fare in a raid?

(God!! This repeated nerfing has put so much pressure on us free players. Have to think of so many permutations and combinations)

Wasp is a 40% buff so I'm not sure how it would do next to a tig. You are wasting a raid spot on 70% chance to chain buff, and only potentially adding a max of ~4k stats… Its just my opinion but I would go for highest buffers with the least reliance on chain buffs. The only two mercs that were ever really efficient to Chaim buff before the nerf were noc and blue bot. I just don't think you gain enough by wasting 2 spots for a chance at a buff that is about as strong as a blue bot by itself per nerf.
