So far I have found that the Switchblade Vulture and Astro have been very effective against this boss, keeping him feom silencing me by doing it to him first lol.

Kidaj is also a welcome atk w/ silence skill. Nothing takes the wind out of the sails like full team silence. Almost as bad as the denied raid.

Thanks for the intel guys.

pglandis: I'm in the process of moving, so my ranking is going to suffer some, but I'll likely be able to close in on the 500 or so ranking with my "points poaching" strategy of single mags on the 3 chevron bosses late in the event when all the top 25 are hunting as many points as they can muster.

So if you need another ally, ping me.

Anyone else notice that the savages don't seem to be leveling at an accelerated rate this time? Or am I wrong in remembering that they are usually like 1.5x?

They are supposed to be 2X, but it doesn't appear so at first because it only shows something like +113 on Victory (same as other squadmates) then shows Level Up screen based on that increase, THEN it adds the second +113 and levels up (if applicable) without showing you. Check your savage before your next step forward, and you will be able to see where you are at.

Sorry guys, my PS3 caught the dreaded Yellow Light of Death last night and I've been frantic about it ever since. Just logged in and accepted the ally requests I had and sent one to Sphynx. Now I'm off to best buy to pick up a new 500 gig PS3 with Last of Us then I need to work on getting my disc and saves out of my old system.... It was fully backwards compatible too.... I don't think I'm ever buying a Microsoft or Sony product ever again, too many have failed on me. Gaming PC + Nintendo console 4 lyfe yo.

Deadhaed: sounds like you got your money out of the backwards ps3. I haven't seen one in years. I will always be a Sony fan. They have the best console exclusives. I can't tell you how many 360s I had that red ringed on me. Lol. Nintendo will always bea great choice with Mario and Zelda!

Is it me or does it kind of look like the majority of the Lethal teams are MIA for this event?  We have a lot of TFB and FFF at the top.  Not sure what is going on...

@alpha-not that I have any significant hope of winning a lethal, but it appears that 2-3 of us might be able to take a shot at it.  In order to help us all out, I would like to figure out when we might all be online for a Super Raid Boss (SRB) "power hour".  Once the schedule goes up, let's try to figure out one SRB appearance a day that we can all be online hitting the same bosses.  Since the geo flavor for Alpha is NA, I assume most of us are within 3hrs of each other?  Note I am EST (East Coast like Daed).  So we have Maine-NewYork-Texas (whitey).

Savages are crap. People will not spend money (poor Dakota). Everyone might have a chance to fight for L this event.

They're farming.  That's why can't see them (may be at around rank 2000). They'll come in day 2 or 3 if the L is good.   Ummmm...  that means another hard PvP ahead..

btw..  can't see me either..  LoL    ^_^

Ehh, when my NES from 20 years ago is still going strong, it's hard to feel like I got my money's worth out of the PS3. I know it's a more complex machine but dying before it reaches its 10th birthday is kinda pathetic. It wasn't even my main console. Don't get me wrong, I love Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, Sega, Atari etc equally, I'm just tired of replacing my consoles twice a decade.

Hey, is there anyone on Alpha, or Beta, or just checking this forum that has another ally slot open? Zoar sent me several people to try, but I wanted to give one last check here before sending out some requests elsewhere.

your not wrong whats the point of a two orb attack on two foes against the raid boss ! Should at least been random foe to get two attacks, that said they look great but that dont get you points.....

The more I pay the more disheartening this event is, boss is a fat budgie and has not got me wanting to win any, and the fact he can slience my whole squad sucks....I think most merc's would be losts for words when they see a fat budgie with guns lol

Not to be a downer, but at the moment rank 22 is only 300k points which is 3 MVPs on the highest level SRB.

Not sure I have enough mags to go for L if people have that many mags. I have 750 right now so I think I will just keep in touch with the leaders and push at the end if it looks like I have a chance.

I don't think i'll have enough spare time to spend the 2k. But it seems really easy so far. If things stay as they are i'll spend less than 300. Ie started with near 1k8 and finishing ah 1k5

Way to go so far teams! Dont forget the hoarders tho. Without meaning to, or at least not totally on purpose, I have over 115k in ally points unclaimed. That would boost me a bit I'm sure. If hou figure out a time for SRB power hour let me know please!

You all must have really nice regular mercs then. The UC savage gets x5 and the R savage gets x6 when fighting the RBs. If you quickly evolve the UCs to Rs and level up, at 40/70 you are getting the equivalent of around 20K stats. I don't have any regular mercs like that. And with the 2x leveling (plus 1.5x XP boost purchase) it doesn't take long to get there. Of course the UC skill for this event isn't worth anything, but the Silence skill of the RB limits what regular mercs can do damage-wise so it keeps the savages in the running. So I am using what savages I can get for free to make two squadmates plus the R I just got makes a 3rd. Once they are fully leveled, I will push them into the reserve squad for the RAID fights. Definitely avoid paying anything for them or worrying about PE evolutions.

This budgie sounds like the pet of the Augmented Bladedancer. Remember her from a while back? She has the silence all skill too, but her attack is a single shot so her damage output for raid isn't nearly strong enough to cause too much worry. But she has screwed up a few PVP battles when her skill goes off and sterilizes my whole squad.  clown
